Army Pfc. Philip Plevel, gunner, Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 101st Field Artillery Regiment, Vermont National Guard, is tested on assessment and treatment of a simulated casualty at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, Vt., 18 DATE, 2017. Plevel is one of ten Guardsmen participating in the Vermont Best Warrior Competition, which is a three-day competition designed to test the candidates physical endurance, military knowledge and basic soldiering skills.
