It is recognized that within the past twenty years New Jersey hasbeen changing rapidly the character of its Agriculture and its agri-cultural methods. General Farming and Dairy farming are no longeras prominent as heretofore, while fruit growing, market gardeningand poultry raising are assuming rapidly increasing systems of farming pursued are becoming more extensive witha corresponding increase in the returns per acre.
