170629-VV376-019 CHICAGO (June 29, 2017) – Air Force Master Sgt. Jarod Jones prepares a serve in a practice game of sitting-volleyball for the DoD Warrior Games. The Parkersburg, West Virginia native is just one wounded warrior from the Air Force team competing in the competition. More than 250 other athletes will participate in the games that start Friday. The Warrior Games are a way to showcase the progress wounded-servicemembers have made in their recovery through competitive sports.
