They are reasonably hardy if planted in a well-drained position, with a covering of leaves or loose litter during the winter, or may be carried over with perfect safety in a cold frame. New Pompon Chrysanthemums This set consists of introductions of the past few years, all of them showing some marked improvement over older varieties. Angelo. A beautiful light pink. Anna L. Moran. Early flowering on dwarf compact plant; color yellow, overlaid with orange-crimson; very attractive. Mrs. Nellie Eleris. An improvement on LQian Dotj'; the color is a deeper pink, and the flowers are more widely distributed on the stem. Nellie Blake. An early-flowering red of aster form. Sidney Mitchell. An early orange-yellow button variety; very distinct and attractive. White Midget. A very daintj' small white button variety of excellent habit. Zelia.
