Y., January 17, 1838. He was fitted for college at Davenport andPrattsville, N. Y., and at Gleudale, Mass., en-tered Williams College in 1856, and was grad-uated in 1860. farming and lumbering, which was establishedat that place by his father in the years 1849-50.
