The students all came eager for the work. Somehad been praying for years that the Lord would openthe way. One return home and close the School a little the regular evangelistic work done by thestudents, a special effort was made to reach some ofthe students in the Government Schools with Chris-tian literature. One thousand packets of ten goodGospel tracts each were made up and given by our men to these. bright young man testified at the opening ex-ercises that he had been pray-ing thus for over two years. When he first mentioned his desire to his family, they said, There are twenty odd people in our family to eat rice, you are just old enough to begin to help bring in a little, we cannot give out for youany longer. I very much wanted to go, he continued, so I prayed veryearnestly and He heard my prayer. I was told that aman was hired to take my place on the farm, and thusthe last hindrance was removed. Another said,when I was passing through Nanchang some yearsago, the Bible School was being built. I prayed thatwhen it opened I might be allowed to come. Severalstudents attended and finished the course, but my waywas still closed. I kept praying and now, after fouryears, I praise the Lord I am here. Still anothersaid that when he saw the foundations being laid, hehad a strong desire for a better knowledge of the Bibleand now after six years of prayer he is here f
