A beautifully marked female Wandering Albatross (Diomedia exulans) on Bird Island, South Georgia
Back to work today, not unwelcome though as out working with these wonderful birds all day! It's laying time for the wandering albatrosses (Diomedia exulans) here on the island so I'm busy finding all their nests and identifying all the individuals. This young female came skulking along through the tussock grass towards me!
