31th March 2012 West Java Cultural Arts Carnival 2012 in Sukabumi Indonesia
West Java Cultural Arts Carnival 2012, held in Sukabumi on 31 March 2012 was initiated by the Department of Tourism and Culture in West Java. The event was initiated from Merdeka Square across the street Perintis Kemerdekaan, RE. Martadinata, Siliwangi, R. Syamsudin SH and Suryakencana starts at am. Participating artists reaching 1,000 people who came from Purwakarta district, the city of Bogor, Sukabumi district, Bandung, West Bandung regency, Cianjur, Sukabumi, and the City Cimahi. Arts and culture in West Java is divided into three zones namely Betawi Malay, Priangan, and Dermayon Kacirebonan. Cultural Arts Carnival aims to preserve and develop traditional arts. After the town of Sukabumi, in 2012 this Art and Culture Carnival will be held in three other areas, namely Khanewal district, Banjar City, and District Indramayu.
