The members and connections of thebent tower are similar to those of the main tower, ex-cept that in the transverse face the struts are rivetedto the cohimn-web splice plates and elsewhere areriveted directly to the column channel webs withoutconnection plates and that the lateral diagonals aresingle riveted angles. The columns are made of pairs.
