STONE KREUSI. 145 Much has been done in the systematic investigation of the chil-dren of tuberculous families, and in studying the social and homeconditions of the tuberculous generally. The Association organized, in the spring of the present year,experimental classes for school children having tuberculosis, orwho are especially exposed to infection. Its purpose has been toteach home and personal hygiene, cooking for the sick, and thepractical use of out-of-door exercise to children who particularlystand in need of such knowledge. The work has been popularwith the children, and permission to attend the classes has beeneagerly sought. To obtain suitable employment for the cases that have beendischarged as arrested from the various clinics is a very perplexingproblem.
