One package of bandages made by a German manufacturer in 1943 with instructions for use on the back. The following inscription was added in black marker: "D-DAY June 6, 44". This package of bandages was retrieved from a Normandy beach on D-Day by Master Sargeant Wallace B. Jackson and sent to Hattye T. Yarbrough.
