Sow seed in hotbed in January or February and transplant into cold frames, 2 or 3 inches each way. Set out in open ground early in spring, about 2^ feet apart. To obtain the best flavor, Broccoli should be cooked soon after being cut. One ounce will produce about 2500 plants. White Cape.
