The flowers are of medium size, semi-double, very freely produced in clusters of from three to twenty flowers each on much branched canes, the plants being literally covered with flowers from top to bottom. It is of strong climbing habit and perfectly hardy. It was awarded a Gold Medal by the National Rose Society and an award of Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society of England, and was also awarded during the summer of 1918 the much coveted Gold Medal at the Bagatelle Gardens, Paris. We have distributed many thousands of Paul's Scarlet Climber, and we have yet to hear from a single person who has been dis- satisfied with it.
