F. convention at New York. Mr. Ammann responded in fine style, the members l)eing })articularly interested in the pub- licity plan i)roposed at the convention. After tlie meeting the club members were taken on an automobile trip tlirough St. Cliarles, returning for a tour of Mr. Denker's greenliouse range. A luncheon at Mr. Denker's home fol- lowed, after which tlie dul) extended a vote of thanks to the host for a delight- ful day. The next meeting will l)e held October 11 at Josei)h Hauser's ])lace at Webster (irox'es, Mo. Various Notes. The Retail Florists' Association lield its regular meeting September 17 at the Knights of C'oluml)Us liall, on Olive street near (irand avenue. President F, H. Weber says it was the largest meet- ing the association has yet held, and one of the most interesting. There was considerable discussion of plans for coiiperative j)ublicity during the coming season. A number of the retailers an- nounced their intention of going to tlie F. T. I), nu'eting at Detroit October 2 and 3. Tlie membership committee has been active and exj)ects to have a num- ber of aj)plications ready for action at tlie next meeting.
