Specimens figured by Michailov (1951: 88, pi. 16 (figs 66-71)) asAncyloceras bipunctatum also suggest an open, crioceratitid or aspinoceratidmode of coiling in some specimens, although a straight fragment was alsofigured. From the descriptions above, Ancyloceras bipunctatum may be defined asprobably being dimorphic.
