Town of Ajax Ontario Canada
Ajax is a growing town located just east of Toronto, Ontario. It has a divers population and still provides that small town feel. The town was named after the HMS Ajax which fought at the Battle of the River Plate, the Battle of Crete and the Battle of Malta, during WWII. Ajax was also a munitions manufacturing town during the war. Many of the home in the core of the town reflect the simple construction of the era. Ajax is now home to a number of large companies like Amazon. The head office of Volkswagen Canada is also located here. When you visit make sure that you take a walk or bicycle on the beautiful waterfront trail at the south end of the town.
