Double star Gamma Arietis, Mesarthim


Double star Gamma Arietis, also called Mesarthim, consists of two stars of magnitude of types A and B9, separated by arc seconds. These two stars form a popular double star easily visible in small telescopes. A third fainter star is not shown in this view. The two stars orbit each other once in about 5000 years.
