SEA (Aug. 9, 2018) – An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to the “Blackjacks” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21, launches from the flight deck of Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) while conducting search and rescue operations for a missing Marine attached to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). The Essex ARG/13th MEU is currently deployed to the 7th fleet area of operations.
