Monday, March 9, 2015 General views of the Barbican estate in the City of London. The Barbican Estate was built in the 1960's and 70's after the area was badly damaged by bombing during World War II. Designed by architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon and is now a grade II listed building showing a prominent example of British brutalist architecture which is the use of raw concrete.
