The Centre Point Building in central London

Centre Point has 35 floors and is 117 metres tall. Designed by Richard Robin Seifert and Partners, building commenced in 1962 using prefabricated pre-cast concrete. The building was completed in 1964 and provides 180000 square feet of office space. Kept deliberately unoccupied in order to avoid rates and running costs it has been highly profitable due to the price rises of commercial property in London. The office and reception were refurbished in 2002-2003. It is currently a Grade II listed building.
