Khanom Tako or Ta Koa Med Bou is a popular Thai Layered Coconut Pudding dessert sold in street food stalls as well as supermarkets. Traditionally, the pudding is consists of 2 layers with a bottom sweet jelly and an upper slightly salty coconut layer, contained in small square cups made from folded pandan leaves. Recent variations include an 'upside-down' version, where various toppings are added to a bottom layer of coconut cream.
