Battle of Naranjo. Two thousand Spaniards commanded by the Brigadiers Bascones and Arminan attacked General Maximo Gomez in a grove of orange trees on February 10, 1874 with 200 casualties. They withdrew to Mojacasabe where also were card from the History of Cuba, Geografico Universal, Propaganda de los Cigarros Susini y La Corona, Tabacalera Cubana.
