General colour black, except for an orange- coloured sub-terminal ring of the antennae, and a dull fulvous band across the tegmina. Head exposed, finely punctured, shining black; labrum fusco-testaceous ; antennae black, with an orange-coloured sub-terminal ring of about 8 joints; interocular distance equal to that between the antennal sockets. Pronotum black, deeply punctured; anterior border without cornua and with only a small and shallow emargination : tig. 19. behind it a triangular depression, bounded poste- n. sp. 9. X 1 V2. ^*^o^v by a raised protuberance. Tegmina shorter than the abdomen, just exceeding the 1^^ abdo- minal segment, considerably narrower than the abdomen, dull black, with a broad dull fulvous vitta across their middle, apex suffused with fulvous.
