Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team train with M4 carbines on a virtual firing range at Fort Indiantown Gap, Feb. 4, 2023. Known as an Engagement Skills Trainer or EST, the virtual firing range gives Soldiers a simulated environment to sharpen their skills without the logistics, risks and cost of using an actual firing range. The Soldiers zeroed their weapons and walked through a qualification event in preparation for qualification on an actual range later this year.
