The steep granite cliffs, Huangshan pines (Pinus hwangshanensis) and rhododendrons of the Huangshan Mountains (also called Yellow Mountains) of Anhui Province, China. The mountain formations of Huangshan are a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stump-tailed macaque (Tibetan macaque, Macaca tibetana) in their luxurious thick coats can be seen at the higher altitudes in Huangshan National Park, Anhui Province, China. Its conservation status is near-threatened.
