The station came in 1908, when the old "stop" Rostock was closed down. The stop was located a paragraph north and served Rostock's health well. New station building was performed in 1941 immediately north of the old revolved when the new was put into service. The new station building was demolished in 1974. In 2000, a model was built in a scale 1: 2 of the 1908 station house on site for this. The house model is available in 2008.
