This is the earliest onion grown ; they are very mild, pure white, and splendid for pickling. They grow small and can be sown thickly. Oz., 20 cts.; % lb., 65 cts.; lb., ^ Maninaoth Silver Kin^. This variety is noted for the extra large size onions it produces the first season from the seed. It is a large flat variety, averag- ing 5 to 6 inches in diameter. The skin is pure white and flesh remarkably tender and pleasing to the taste. Oz., 15 cts.; % lb., 60 cts.; lb., White Barletta. An extra early small white onion ; similar to White Queen, and makes bulbs about I % to I ''2 inches in diameter ; in shape flattened on top. Large, red, flat ; free from strong aroma, and keep well during winter, Oz., 15 cts.; % lb., 40 cts.; lb., BermudaWhite. ( Tencriffe stock. ) The IBermudas are the earliest onions in the market, and are grown extensively in the South ; matures earlier than the red. The outer skin is of straw color and flesh pure white. Oz., 20 cts.; % lb , 65 cts.; lb., ' Bermuda Red. ( Tencriffe stock. ) Similar to the white, but with deep red skin.
