Brastagi. Upon their arrival in Brastagi, our troops made a lurid find. In a mass grave, 18 mutilated bodies were found. Elsewhere in the village, 40 horrible mutilated bodies were found of other victims of the TNI Annotation: Burned building. There are remains for that. In the foreground a sign with the inscription Markas. Napindo Res Halilintar K. Merdeka B. Tgi. [IMEN] HALILINTAR (Regiment Halilintar=Lightning) K [AMPUNG?] MERDEKA (Kampong Merdeka, now Desa Merdeka) B [ERAS] TAGI (Berastagi) Napindo Resimen Halilintar was a paramilitary organization led by Selamat Ginting (inter alia).
