Building of the broadcaster MDR in Leipzig, a city in the eastern German state of Saxony.

Building of the broadcaster MDR in Leipzig, a city in the eastern German state of Saxony. Badly damaged in World War II, and physically neglected by the old communist East German government, Leipzig has been rebuilding itself since German reunification in 1990. MDR stands for Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, which operates radio and television stations. Its main building here is part of the city's reconstruction.
