The work of this section comprised the develop-ment of a suitable cylinder for the gas, atop valve to closethe cylinder during charging and after discharge, and to pro-tect the opening val/e, and the opening valve itself that wasused when the tank was fired. A suitable nozzle was alsodeveloped to decrease the noise of discharge.
