Hundred of people joined the Stop the War blockade of Lancaster House, where the international conference on Afghanistan is being held, to protest against the war in Afghanistan. The conference has been co-hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown, President Karzai and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Partecipants included foreign ministers from International Security Assistance Force partners, Afghanistan’s immediate neighbours and key regional player, and representatives from NATO, the United Nations, the EU and other international organisations such as the World Bank.
