Recovered Falcon 9 rockets from SpaceX. Landed first stages of Falcon 9 rockets in hangar 39A at the SpaceX launch facilities at Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA. SpaceX have pioneered propulsive vertical landing of the first stages of their rockets on drone ships in the Atlantic Ocean. This enables SpaceX to reuse their rocket stages much more rapidly than other reusable systems. SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies) is a private US aerospace and space transport services company. It was founded in 2002 and has developed the Falcon rockets and the Dragon spacecraft. Future plans include crewed flights to Mars. Photographed on 14 May 2016.
