A pair of five-candle candelabras, Birmingham, 1903/06, Sterling silver "925", hallmarks Birmingham 1903/06, of the famous silversmith manufacturer Elkington, corresponding jeweller's mark on the side, the obverse with commemorative inscription referring to an event dating back twenty years "14 - 26 July 1884 - George", surmounted by the monogram "E I S". Height cm. Weight cannot be ascertained, as the bottoms contain iron plates. Palmette and plant ornaments, stepped bases, removable drip pans, one arm bent.
