Hara-don awarded the contract on the 18th day of October, at the price of $3,200,the building to be completed within thirty days, and in twenty-three days afterthe date of his contract, he delivered the building complete for occupancy, andon the 21st day of November, the Court House was occupied by the first sessionof the District Court in Clinton, This Court House was a neat two-story frame structure, 44x52 feet in size,and divided on the ground floor into offices for the Recorder, Clerk of theCourts.
