He received the support ofonly thirty-four ministers out of thewhole Conference. The result was the appointment aspresident of Doctor Bunting, whose qual-ifications were outstanding; and, ashouse-governor, of the amiable and ex-cellent Joseph Entwisle. A scholarlyand well-qualified tutor was found inJohn Hannah. It drew forth a bulkypamphlet from Doctor Warren, entitledRemarks on the Wesleyan TheologicalInstitution for the Education of the Jun-ior Preachers, Together with the Sub-stance of a Speech Delivered in the Con-ference.
