It includes spaces such as the Neurotitan Gallery, the Anne Frank Center, the Otto Weidt workshop for the blind, the Central Cinema, Monsterkabinett museum of the Berlin artist group Dead Chickens, the Eschschloraque Rümschrümp bar as well as studios and offices The name was taken from a novel by Stefan Heym and it refers to a no man's land that has no owner. The building was DEFA headquarters previously and a brush workshop with a hiding place for a Jewish family. The Otto Weidt memorial plaque refers to this
