The Liberty Gate plaque. Inscribed of the names of Monsieur Crocicchia, the then French Governor in India, Monsieur Baron, the administrator of Chandannagar and Monsieur Rampal Singh, the architect of the gate. The gate was constructed on 14th July 1937 on the Bastille Day on the Grand Trunk Road between Bhadreswar and Chandannagar. Chandannagar, Hooghly, West Bengal. India.
