A pair of Italian flintlock pistols, circa 1780. Round brass barrels with slightly swamped muzzles and smooth bores in 13 mm calibre. The inscription "a la Pellino" is engraved on the sighting flats. Iron locks with lightly cambered lock plates. The point of one frizzen is damaged. Almost illegible marks below the frizzen springs. Lightly carved walnut full stocks with horn nose caps (one nose cap slightly damaged). Profiled brass furniture and ramrod.
