The public spirit, energy and enterprisefor which Cleveland is becoming so widel}-known, is at present centered in makingthe Convention one of the most notable,perhaps the greatest, gathering in the his-tory of that world-renowned organization,which for fifty years has been stimulating,co-ordinating and unifying the educationalthought and practice of our country. When the nations educators assembleat the great city on Lake Erie they willfind the reception, convention and hospital-ity arrangements almost perfect. The im-mense and complicated task of arrangingfor the housing, feeding, convenience, com-fort and enjoyment of the 50,000 expectedvisitors, already nearing completion, hasbeen reduced to a straightforward
