Pasargadae, Iran. Ruins of the Great's private Palace. It was the private palace of Cyrus the Great, Achaemenid king of Persia (559-530 BC), the founder of the Achaemenid Empire. Pasargadae was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire under Cyrus the Great, who had issued its construction.
