During a weekend, the city of Groenlo, in the Netherlands, returns to 1627. The Battle of Grolle, one of the battles fought during the 80-year war, is masterfully depicted. More than a thousand participants from countries all over Europe form the armies that, in the recreation, confront the troops of the Spanish monarch with the soldiers of the United Provinces of the Netherlands.
