Army Master Sgt. John Paul Karpovich, left, and Capt. Samuel DeBold, both deployed with the 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, finished as the top two competitors in the 28th ECAB during the Taji 100, a challenge to complete at least 100 miles during the month of February. Karpovich finished first with 380 miles in 106 hours, while DeBold finished second with 205 miles at an average pace of 9 minutes and 5 seconds.
