Reverse view of beautiful Ashness Bridge near Derwentwater Cumbria picturesque Packhorse bridge with mountain views

A view of Ashness Bridge taken from the other side, a side not normally shown in pictures. Ashness Bridge is probably the best preserved example of a Packhorse Bridge in the Lake District National Park and a prime tourist destination. The stream or Beck flowing under the bridge meets the lake of Derwentwater, just a couple of hundred yards away near the jetty where many tourist arrive from Keswick on one of the many ornate launches that circle Derwentwater in the summer.
