Aberaeron Harbour, Wales, with fishing boat in foreground
Aberaeron is a small town on the coast of west Wales. The harbour is man-made in the mouth of the River Aeron. Much of the town's architecture is Georgian, dating from the early 19th Century, and the famous architect, John Nash, was said to have been involved in the design of the town. Although the town is still a fishing port, most economic activity is based on tourism and supporting local agriculture. The Harbourmaster Hotel has won several awards and is Grade II listed.
