The station arrived in 1908, when the old "stop" Rostock was closed down. The stop was located a piece north and served Rostock's health well. New station building was erected in 1941 immediately north of the old one that was demolished when the new one was put into operation. The new station building was demolished in 1974. In 2000, a model was built on a scale of 1: 2 of the 1908 station house at the site for this. The house model remains in 2008.
