Tliey are perfectly hardy and with- stand severe winters without protection. Should be given the same treatment as recommended for Hyacinths, either for indoor or outdoor cultivation. The Poeticus varieties have short crowns or cups; the Bar- rii, Leedsi and Incomparabilis, medium crowns; the others listed, long-, trumpet shaped crowns.
