HAGÅTÑA, Guam (Sept. 9, 2022) - Commander Joint Region Marianas Rear Adm. Benjamin Nicholson along with Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Blaz leadership and environmental professionals, the Guam State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO), and signatories to the 2011 Programmatic Agreement (PA) gathered for the 10th Annual PA Workshop at the Sen. Antonio M. Palomo Guam Museum and Education Facility in Hagatña from Sept. 8–9. The workshop serves as an opportunity for all PA parties to evaluate important achievements, assign tasks and review outstanding requirements since the signing of the 2011 PA.

The two-day event featured productive discussions, presentations and updates on the protection and preservation of cultural resources in the Marine Corps realignment on Guam. It also included tours of specific cultural sites on MCB Camp Blaz.
