Image of Lance Sergeant Johnson Gideon Beharry VC who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery in Iraq whilst serving with his regiment .His army unit the Ist Battalion Princess of Wales Regiment came under ambush on Ist May and again on 11th of June 2004 ,he sustained serious head injuries in the latter engagement and was formally invested with the Victoria Cross by Queen Elizabeth II on 27th April 2005
