Bangkok, Thailand - 29 March 2011; Wat Pho is one of Bangkok's oldest temples. It pre-dates the establishment of Bangkok as the capital of Thailand by King Rama I. The temple complex houses the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, including a stunning gilded 46 m long reclining Buddha. It was also the earliest centre for public education in Thailand, and still houses a school of Thai medicine. It is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage which is still taught and practiced here.
