England. 1920s – A First World War British Mark. IV ‘female’ ‘presentation’ tank on display in an unknown location in England. Following the end of the Great War, the British government donated 265 surplus tanks to the National War Savings Committee to be awarded to British towns and cities in recognition of their efforts in buying War Saving Certificates and Bonds. The tanks were delivered to their intended locations by the Tank Corps.
